808Nanny is passionate about providing the most highly qualified nannies and babysitters on the island of Oʻahu, which is why we verify all candidates have their First Aid, CPR, and AED certification completed before joining our remarkable team of Childcare Superheroes.
We believe the American Heart Association (AHA) is the gold standard when it comes to providing medical response training to childcare professionals, and it is for that reason, we strongly recommend their Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certification course for all prospective nannies and babysitters. However, any AHA or nationally recognized and accredited course that also includes First Aid, CPR, and AED training for child and infant, in addition to adult, will suffice.
In the Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course, you’ll learn:
|Pediatric First Aid Basics||CPR AED and choking|
If living on the island of Oʻahu, we strongly recommend registering for the hands-on skills practice and skills testing session at Hawaiʻi CPR Training.
